Project Of Interior Design Of A Property At 24r, Via Del Sole In Florence For The Activity 'Of Creation And Sale Of Miniature Artisans

Antonio saporito architetture + design as Architecture and Design

The new project consists of the preparation and redistribution, for the creation of new exhibition spaces within a small commercial building, located in Via del Sole 24r in Florence, for the creation and sale of miniatures. The implemented interventions have given new life to the old building, creating three-dimensionality, new perspective points and illuminating the environment, so as to make it more visible. Making the most of the verticality, custom-made furniture has been created at full height, functional and practical.

The horizontal elements, like the display shelves, run on a curve created in plasterboard, ideally creating in plan, the shape of the "typical lens" used just by the artisan property to recreate its detailed and refined miniatures, with a small window, which represents the lens itself, where the shelf becomes the handle; all completed with closed storage compartments with essential doors. On the opposite side of the wall, there is a work table and two original seats, where these precious artifacts are created; above it is installed an adjustable lamp, a source of light during the work of the miniaturist. Outside, the store is presented to the public with the installation of a backlit illuminated corten sheet metal sign, designed and designed as a unique object to give the right showcase to the creations on display.

Material Used :
1. Sand color resin floor;
2. Wood and water paint;
3. Natural Wood oak essence;
4. Tools by Antonio Saporito (birch wood and padded leather);
5. Luminous sign and corten frame;
