ULMA DRAINAGE SOLUTION ON CENTRAL VITORIA STREET IN LISBON

ULMA Architectural Solutions as Drainage System

ULMA SELF250 drainage channels on Vitoria Street in Lisbon, Portugal.

ULMA Architectural Solutions was chosen to install its drainage channels as part of the renovation works on “Rua da Vitória”; a touristic pedestrian area popular due to its location near the most important square in Lisbon, the Praça do Comércio.

ULMA supplied channels from its domestic range (SELF 250 system) with a special single-slot grating designed in stainless steel.

The stainless steel lateral single-slot grating has been specially developed according to the planner's specifications and adapted to their needs. This kind of inverted L-shaped grating is an ideal solution for pedestrian streets such as Rua da Vitória. In addition, this type of lateral grating is the perfect option for installation in nearby areas or walls, without compromising on hydraulic capacity or aesthetic finishes, since the system has been fully integrated in the pavement, an essential characteristic in this project.
