Frente Marítimo de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
In one of our recent projects, we managed to enhance the overall aesthetics with a concealed drainage system.
It is the Las Palmas seafront, in the Canary Islands. The project, by the local architecture firm Romera y Ruiz, is inspired by traditional lateen sail boats and is clearly an homage to them. It is interesting to see how they use their triangular geometry to adapt to the environment with simple and creative forms.

MÉCA Bourdeaux
This aesthetic grating has been chosen for the MÉCA, the new cultural centre in the French region of Aquitania. This spectacular building has become an emblem for the city of Bordeaux.
This discrete and uncomplicated single slot grating means that it goes unnoticed, making it ideal for places where the drainage solution must not be evident so as not to take away from the beauty of the surroundings, but without losing sight of correct rainwater drainage.
Civil F system drainage channels have been supplied for heavy load classes F250K and F300K with the D400 single slot grating and multi V system for intermediate loads with an optimised V-shaped section combined with the D400 single slot grating. More

Customised Slot Grating in Azpeitia
A double-intake slot grating specially designed for the site has been supplied, in an historical Basque town which totally blends in with the urban landscape.In order to maintain the aesthetics, a drainage system was proposed consisting of a hidden channel with double-intake single-slot grating. This solution contains a rainwater inlet in a 20-mm slot, divided into two symmetrical parts in compliance with the Accessibility Regulations for Urban Public Areas for Pedestrian use.At the request of the project designer, the grating was customised creating drainage housings so that the water reaching the grating, filtered from the slabs, does not stagnate, but returns to the channel. Vitoria Street
ULMA SELF250 drainage channels on Vitoria Street in Lisbon, Portugal.ULMA Architectural Solutions was chosen to install its drainage channels as part of the renovation works on “Rua da Vitória”; a touristic pedestrian area popular due to its location near the most important square in Lisbon, the Praça do Comércio.ULMA supplied channels from its domestic range (SELF 250 system) with a special single-slot grating designed in stainless steel. The stainless steel lateral single-slot grating has been specially developed according to the planner's specifications and adapted to their needs. SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE
The work for Granada School of Architecture was selected for the FAD Architecture Awards 2016
ULMA Architectural Solutions has supplied drainage channels to the Higher Technical School of Architecture in Granada. The new school was previously the Military Hospital, located in the Realejo district close to the Alhambra. The architect was Victor López Cotelo, and the work was selected for the FAD Architecture Awards 2016.
The drainage channels installed in the outside sections of the school are the UK system. This system can be used with grilles up to load class C250, suitable for areas crossed by traffic, such as light vehicle car parks and residential complexes.
