Arkadia Works designed a fun and colorful office for Mattel Indonesia, a toy manufacturer with many well known toy brands amongst kids and family such as Barbie, Fisher-Price, Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Mega, American Girl, UNO, and Thomas & Friends.

Through the design concept of “Universal Happiness” Designer applied the combination of many colors from Mattel’s toy products along with a modern and industrial vibe throughout the interior design, creating a comfortable yet professional working environment.

Designer uses a modern industrial theme design with a fun vibe from the colorful theme of Mattel’s product brands.

The industrial elements are applied by exposed bricks, cement exposed, open ceiling, spotlights, hanging lamps, etc. As for the fun theme, Designers applied colors from Mattel’s toy products such as from Barbie, Uno and also Hot Wheels tracks applied as decoration.

In Mattel's office, some of the Rooms are named after their famous product brands. Such as "The Barbie Room”, “Hot Wheels Room” and “Uno Room”, where each room is decorated according to the product name.

The Staff Area is designed with an open space concept that is applied to support large collaboration and boost productivity amongst the employees. Inspired by one of Mattel's products, Hot Wheels, Designer painted the Hot Wheels "Track" on the floor surrounding the office, giving the impression of fun and playful.

Employees can take a short break or do fun activities at the Breakout Space, which features games such as Uno and Uno Stacko on each table and plenty of snacks available.
