Jef Peeters started the company Jef Peeters bvba in 1991 in Westmalle (Belgium). During 6 years, Jef had an atelier in Belgium and in Norway.
In Norway Jef discovered the difference in culture and wood applications between Belgium and Norway. He was amazed to discover that the Flemish knowledge was very useful in Norway.
The Scandinavian countries have definitely the competensions to work with wood, but for new applications and innovating techniques, Flanders scores better.
Belgian entrepreneurs are much more driven and motivatet.
This fact made Jef choosing 100 % for Belgium again after 6 years of Norway experience. Jef has his wood atelier in Schoten now.
