TOYA (Towards Your Aspiration) – Root House
Modern architecture adopts traditional elements, that are present in Bucharest city, in order to compose a unique private residency. Strict tilts, and clear lines create a magical and harmonious material combination. The reflective attribute of the metal ceiling manages to decrease -at least in appearance- the size and the vertical structure of the house. Similarly, the bricks with earthly colors on the wall, offer unification between interior spaces, balconies, garden, and green areas.

Harvard Undergraduate House Renewal Winthrop House
Winthrop House, comprised of two Neo-Georgian former freshman dormitory buildings from 1913, had undergone few upgrades since its construction. The renewal program re-envisioned Winthrop’s residential, academic, social, and co-curricular spaces and addresses technical challenges, including significant envelope upgrades, the installation of all-new mechanical systems, and detailed restoration work for the House’s signature public spaces. Amidst the sensitive context of Harvard’s River Houses, BBB also designed Robert M. Beren Hall, a distinctive 41-bed addition that includes shared amenities for undergraduates. Markthal Rotterdam
Today Queen Máxima of the Netherlands opens Markthal Rotterdam, a project by developer Provast. Markthal is the first covered food market of the Netherlands, drawing inspiration from food markets in Stockholm, Barcelona and Valencia. The roof of the market hall is an arch accommodating 228 apartments, underneath the hall are 1,200 parking spaces and a supermarket. The combination of market hall and housing is a new typology and, located in Rotterdam’s city center, is expected to attract 4,5 to 7 million visitors each year. The construction of Markthal, a design by MVRDV, took five years to be completed. The project was executed by contractors J.P van Eesteren, Mobilis and Martens en Van Oord.

Showcase Garrison Church Potsdam
A Showcase made of HAVER Architectural Mesh as a long-lasting protection against vandalism and robbery.
The Garrison Church in Potsdam by architect Philipp Gerlach (1679-1748) was one of the outstanding buildings of the North German Baroque. Destroyed in the 2nd World War and demolished in the GDR, the church is now going to be rebuilt. As one of the first parts of the church the golden weather vane, consisting of a gold-plated crown, an eagle and a crowned monogram of Friedrich Wilhelm I., was faithfully reconstructed. After six month of construction, the golden weather vane could be presented for the first time.
