Sak Lool, Tulum: Conscious Architecture in the Mayan Jungle

Sak Lool is an architectural proposal immersed in the heart of the Tulum jungle that connects with its surroundings through a minimalist aesthetic, natural materials, and a profound respect for the landscape. The complex is composed of vertical volumes with clean lines and naturally finished walls, crowned by palm thatched roofs that reinterpret the region's construction tradition with a contemporary language.

The design prioritizes a sensorial connection with nature: the proportions of the spaces, the strategically placed vertical windows, and the use of materials such as local stone and wood create an atmosphere of calm, shade, and freshness in harmony with the tropical climate. The organically shaped pool blends seamlessly into the surroundings, evoking a natural cenote and serving as a meeting and contemplation point.

More than a tourism project, Sak Lool represents a sustainable vision of habitat: bioclimatic architecture, low density, pedestrian circulation, and a spatial experience designed to reconnect visitors with the natural environment without sacrificing comfort.
