The municipality of Silvia in the department of Cauca represents one of the most representative conglomerates of indigenous presence of the Guambiana ethnic group, better known as the Misak. The project arises under the premise of creating a citadel for this community governed by the premises of their customs, ways of living and ancestral rites, which is projected to provide housing for 300 families belonging to this ethnic group together with complementary uses such as hotels and lodging cabins, commercial premises and a small museum representative of the Misak culture that teaches visitors their customs, values and philosophy, all this with the objective of promoting tourism that in turn financially enhances the execution and maintenance of this project for the Misak community.
