Mageska Capital is a company operating in the financial sector. The firm emphasizes human expertise while integrating cutting-edge technologies. The mission entrusted to the Folio Design team was to create harmony between a formal work environment and classic visual standards, while highlighting Mageska's welcoming, youthful, dynamic, and thoughtful character.
Located in a renowned building at the heart of its sector of activity, Mageska needed a space that reflected its values and principles. Folio Design took on the challenge of adapting this limited 2,025 sq. ft. space to instill a sense of grandeur.
One of the major objectives was to design an environment that reflected their expertise and industry standards, while bringing a touch of modernity. The idea was to break with the rigidity and austerity of traditional spaces in the financial sector, while maintaining a sense of trust. The team devised an innovative spatial concept, centered on core values such as openness, access to panoramic views, transparency, user well-being, and identity. Another major challenge was ensuring privacy within this space, a crucial element given the nature of their work.
Transparency and sharing are central to the company's ethos. Aware that certain tasks require a certain level of privacy, the Folio Design team sought to transform common areas into inclusive spaces conducive to openness. Transparency with partners and clients is as essential as strengthening internal relationships.
To meet this need for openness, the team chose to reveal the space gradually. Wide, clear circulation paths were created, incorporating walnut-toned wooden architectural elements. These divisions, while guiding users, offer visual revelations as they progress through the space, revealing themselves at the appropriate moment. Upon entering, a glass partition with rounded corners welcomes users. Its transparency and delicate contours reduce any sense of barrier, while allowing a smooth flow to shared spaces and clearly delineating the junction between public and private areas.
Then, the spacious kitchen in pastel tones and the welcoming lounge area designed for clients are revealed. The open kitchen not only serves a practical purpose but also fosters collaboration, creating a relaxed atmosphere while remaining accessible to clients. This multifunctional approach enhances productivity and client interactions, while highlighting the project's versatility. Furthermore, the design seamlessly blends classic elements with bold experimentation, showcasing inventive combinations of materials and textures while maintaining a professional atmosphere.
Unlike traditional financial offices, this space seamlessly blends living and working areas, with an open layout that extends to the entrance. Although the space is limited, the project excels in maximizing fluidity and efficiency, distinguishing itself through innovative design choices that create an illusion of grandeur, enhanced by spectacular exterior views.
