ISCA is a renovation project of a small space in the heart of Palermo.
The project aesthetic is inspired by the nostalgic memories of a Brazilian journey.
In the restaurant's open plan space, the custom-made counter is symmetrically framed by a semi-circular arch; a bespoke wallpaper is installed as a background to this system
The restaurant space is surrounded by oak panels, integrated with the counter surface made with bespoke ash milled panels and white Carrara marble.
Above the long bench which lays on the boiserie, there is a row of tropical plants that highlights the vivid contrast between the dark surface of the wood and the resin-coated walls.
A combination of suspended circles, made with local fishing net, expresses the restaurant style of food, and evokes the image of the sea.
