The complex is located at the main business center of Shenzhen’s bay area, the complex is a component of three main functions; a grand and luxurious super 5 star hotel that contains a mega business center and the largest ball room in the city, a serviced apartment tower and an office building that is the headquarter of the Shenzhen Metro and Transit Authority.
The architectural façade has drawn its inspiration from the significance of bamboo in the chines’ heritage, the organic shapes of the buildings mimics the leaves of the bamboo whilst the vertical textured line of the building represents the vertical veins of the bamboo stock.
The intention for the complex is to be the unofficial heart of the Shenzhen’s bay area, housing in its underground levels a primary transit station and the main Shenzhen city transportation center and authority.
