Eco-Robot City

This project suggests a colony that restore environment while developing human existence. We are proposing a new urban typology that should break the deadlock in which civilization has been engaged since it grew to big. While assuring human survivals basics, it will also be a culture medium and constitute a network with the global environment. We tried to reduce the energy consumption by avoiding an expanding city style but a typology whom the shape and the function permit to restore the environment. The human activity areas are thought as parasites buried into the matrix of the biologic recovery nexus. In the sea, the environment created by the fasciculus reticulated tissue of fiber that plunge into water allow to develop plankton and thus, fish farms. Inside the main structure, a rotating empilage of slabs following the movement of the sun constitute a system that generate food and provide stock space of it. It is also a desalinate facility. -In the desert, Reticulated tissue net are developed horizontally giving protection to the above ground. It is a protection against ultraviolet rays and regulates excessive rains. Thanks to this the above soil regain fertility and gain the ability to bear vegetation, slowly regenerating the environment. Those ones provide various transportation systems to the Sky/Earth-Scraper. The living spaces are developed where the transportation tubes and the main body structures are connecting each other. Sky/Earth-Scraper The tower dispose of solar battery, wind generators, and an water production system by using sea/underground water. Those systems are built according to necessity. In addition it provide different ways to stock energy and resources. The tower cools of by use of a heat exchange system which take place into the underground and underwater sections and also into the fiber net. This exchange system converts heat into electricity thanks to the Seebeck effect. By distributing those resources outside, it also gain the role of "improving environment device". The hexagonal shape is used as a construction standard. The slabs are able to adjust their orientation by moving on a vertical direction while turning along the skin structure tubes. the slabs are thought as a folding honeycomb object. It can fold on itself and be stored. It allow to dispose of high flexible inner space that can be adjusted to the needs. The six main structural tubes are spinning around the building up to the top where they converge. Using this kind of structure generate strength perpendicular to the facade that are taken over by ring belt bounding the structure horizontally. The structure leads down the load, following the spiral movement.


Reticulated tissue net This tissue is porous, giving regulation to the light, and preventing the direct exposition to sandstorms. the inner space is comfortable thanks to the skin being thought as the one of a living body. The living spaces take place into those reticulated tissue of fiber. Flexible circulation tube. This is a duct running vertically and horizontally into the whole colony levels. It carries water, food, clear water, harvested food, and hot/cold water from the heat exchange system. It is also a vacuum tube carrier for movements of persons. It is constructed into a material that possesses the properties of dynamic strength, flexibility and chemical stability.
