The workspace and workshop building is inserted into the core of a factory, surrounded by structures with various operational and production processes, as well as recent architectural, landscape and artistic interventions that we have been working on over the last few years, as part of a transformation process that has become an essential strategy for improving the spatial quality and well-being of the team. 

The structure, made of metal sections, rises from the ground and is superimposed on an existing workshop building, creating a dialogue between contemporary materials and a masonry and concrete base.

The building consists of two levels with contrasting architectural languages in terms of axes, spans, openings, composition and materiality, reflecting the sense of use and function of each. The upper level is dedicated to the production of cutting and weaving, where lighting is carefully managed through strategic points and a north-facing skylight. This arrangement ensures adequate thermal conditions throughout the day and at different times of the year, considering that this space is used for long working days.

The lower level contains an administrative space focused on the factory's production. Transparency to the surroundings has been prioritized, allowing visual integration with the adjacent mural and landscape architecture.

The building is conceived as a superimposition of several temporal layers, intertwined with the different pre-existing structures and with the history of this industry, reflecting its evolution over time.
