VILLA M

DEAR studio as Architects

This holiday home unfolds gracefully over three floors, each with its own distinct purpose and character, brought to life by a careful selection of colors and furnishings. On the lower level are located a fitness room, a bathroom, and a guest room. These spaces open up to a delightful green inner courtyard, filling them with natural light and a welcoming atmosphere. Here, a pristine white decor reigns, enhancing the sense of brightness. But even in this space, you‘ll notice the meticulous attention to detail, including a track light system that ensures even illumination throughout the fitness area. Moving up to the first floor, it serves as an extension of the second floor, offering a serene office space and a private sauna. Both spaces feature large windows that frame views of the garden and swimming pool, establishing a strong connection with the outdoors. This compact yet fully equipped apartment, complete with a dining area and bedroom, can be easily made independent for guests. A designed rotating door seamlessly disappears into the staircase‘s structure. This level bursts with vibrant colors, particularly a lush green shade that finds echoes in the generous shower tiles and the bedroom ‘s floral wallpaper.

To create striking contrasts, sleek black lighting elements are incorporated, while oak wood details maintain continuity with the floor above. On the main floor, where the space expands to accommodate a spacious kitchen on a substantial central black Fenix island. This area seamlessly flows into a sprawling terrace with captivating views of Merano. A windowed alcove provides a cozy spot to sit, read, and soak in the breathtaking scenery. The level shows an elegant ambiance with a sophisticated black and white color palette, beautifully complemented by chrome lamps and accented with warm oak wood elements. The sleeping area, characterized by an anthracite color scheme, boasts a generous walk-in closet that discreetly conceals the entrance to the private bathroom. Here, a welcoming herringbone parquet floor and two glass partitions complete the inviting atmosphere. From the garage to the three floors above, the stairwell becomes a central element, marked by a handrail masterfully carved from oak wood, resembling a guiding light guiding you upward.
