The architectural firm of this paradisiacal reatereat is Studio Joana Aranha, which has re-imagined a 5000 square metre plot in the Alentejo, in the Portuguese countryside, giving new life to this house with an ad hoc restyling. The project is called Living in Alentejo and mixes family and social life, unspoilt nature and good design in the name of bien vivre and relaxation. The project involves the redevelopment of a 400 square metre, one-storey historic house and the creation of a large garden complete with swimming pool, paddle court, outdoor dining and lounge areas and also an outdoor building housing a gym and sauna. A studied succession of indoor and outdoor convivial areas.
