Vanakis one of the most important C.B.Ds in Tehran due to the critical streets crossing Vanak square that connect North-South and West-East of Tehran.The project site is on the North West of Vanak square. This building is designed to function as an extension of the city center, this task is achieved by designing a continues landscape through the building connecting both sides of the structure. Ashopping district is interlaced through the landscape core that attracts the pedestrians to walk through the building transforming the building into a social hub by enhancing its program functionality.
This adaptation alters the image ofthe structure from a construction mass and interprets the building as a part of the C.B.D which automatically interacts with the public. The two high rise towers are oriented in explicit direction to optimize the building performance and create city views from the interior.
