The harmony of design and nature

Enchanting harmony of design and nature

HOLA Design as Designers

This house emerges from the pine forest’s embrace. A family-friendly interior bestows a special feeling of intimacy through the subtle intermingling of colors and textures. Designed according to the ‘less is more’ philosophy by Hola Design studio, it has become the natural canvass for displaying timeless Italian design.

A quiet forest thicket near Warsaw provides the backdrop for this modern, comfortable house. The very heart of this family respite is created by a living space filled with light, connected with the kitchen. Its interiors open up to the ancient forest and an enchanting garden. Nature here is constantly at the tips of your fingers, soothing the weary soul during every season. Hola Design were able to bring to life a harmonious dance, entwining the interiors and the outside, through a subtle play with colors. The delicate color palette contains white, beige and deep brown, reflecting the spirit of minimalism. A sense of peace is bestowed upon the room by the smooth, light sinter fireplace wall and uniform oaken floor. They also serve as the perfect backdrop to the unique design elements.

- We have given the light a vital role as well. As you enter, an exquisite play of lights catches your eye – artificial light and daylight coming through the large glass panels. Lamps serve not only as a functional source of light, but they also help build the atmosphere and character of the room, which was especially important to the investors – report Monika and Adam Bronikowscy, owners of Hola Design studio. – The unique design and manufacturing precision turn the Italian lamps chosen for the room into a decorative element in their own right. A sort of jewelry that draws attention – they add.

Inside, we’ll find only the highest quality materials, synonymous with modern elegance. Light wooden veneers provide a neutral background for the stone counter in the kitchen, bringing out the warmth that is indispensable at any home in the bathroom. Grey quartz sinter accompanied by wood reflects a connection with nature. Sumptuous curtains protect the sleeping areas against sharp midday sun and serve as a subtle decoration. Carefully selected material textures and natural textiles create a cozy interior. But it is the custom-made furniture that makes it truly unique. A bed with natural leather upholstery in a matte finish was designed specifically for this project by Hola Design.

Smart home solutions that evade the eye contribute to the comfort and functionality of the design. Smart home solutions used in this case include: light scene settings, heating and ventilation control, window shade control, as well as an alarm system. These were seamlessly incorporated into the consistent minimalist arrangement, which provides both effectiveness and elegance.

The house is hidden within the woods. It’s a place where nature and design achieve the perfect symbiosis, creating an exceptional interior. It was appreciated not only by its inhabitants, but also recognized by the international jury of the prestigious European Property Awards 2023 in the Residential Interior – Private Residence category.
