Reconquista is the principal city of the Region 1 of the province. The Lancerosdel Sauce neighbourhood in the Center-West of the city, has received in the last ten years an important influx of people from rural areas.
Alongside that population growth, the educational offer of secondary level schools in operation is deficient, creating problems of student overpopulation and scarcity of building space.
Faced with this situation, it was decided to build a new high school. It shall take the form Humanities and social sciences. There will be 20 sections, which develop their activities during shifts, morning and afternoon.
The school is being built according to the typological design system, and includes: 8 classrooms, library, informatics room, laboratory of science and technology, WCs, canteen, multipurpose hall, courtyards, management sector (direction, vice-direction, meeting room, preceptors room, secretary, waiting room and janitor’s area), public lavatories, for teachers and non-teachers.
As all schools conceived under this modality, itwill be open to the neighborhood’s lifestyle. Through the distinctive to tem, it will be recognizable at a distance. The exterior walls will be terminated with coated waterproof white acrylicon thick plaster. Interior partitions will be completed with paint latexsemisat in fine surface; the ceilings, painted concrete. Polished granite tiles were used on the floors of classrooms, bathrooms, multipurpose hall, directions and galleries. The wood work will be white aluminium, profiles of iron railings, doors coated in white melamine plates and U-glass and laminated glass will be installed.
