The superyacht 100 RS Mrs Seven is a sporty 100-foot state-of-the-art superyacht with a strong design, built with sophisticated materials for high performance both in light breeze and strong weather conditions. The interior is equipped with an aft crew area, kitchen with a two level breakfast bar, chart area, study, master cabin and three other guest cabins; two standard and one VIP.
Facility description Built by Southern Wind, an international standing shipyard specialized in the production of high performance cruiser and racer cruiser composite yachts from 24 to 35 mt based in South Africa, and designed by Farr Yacht Design and Nauta Design, 100 RS Mrs Seven won the “Barca dell'Anno 2008” award at the Salone Nautico in Genoa, in the sailing superyachts category.
Client’s requirements Those responsible for the general concept and interior design were looking for taps and bathroom accessories with a minimalist modern and square design for the bathrooms of the cabins, which are characterized by dark wood furniture and marble. On the one hand, the products had to be impactive and blend aesthetically with the very trendy look of the boat, and on the other, there was the need for a particularly long-lasting finishing given the seafaring context of the installation.
Playone 85 feng shui The Playone 85 tap collection, the icon of Fir Italia style for its modern minimalist square design, met all the criteria. The deck-mounted version with the Feng Shui jet was used, with freely flowing water that is visible inside the spout, giving a pleasant sensation of well-being. With its unique design, characterized by square lines softened at the corners and a lever that extends out over the spout, perfectly integrated with the body, the Playone 85 Feng Shui mixer was perfect for installing on the stunning marble washbasins in the bathrooms.
The product choice The fixtures are completed with the bidet mixer and bathroom accessories, all coordinated in the same Playone minimalist square style; clean and simple. A chrome finishing was selected for the products, the quality of which fulfilled both the high aesthetic parameters requested by the designers, and the need for high resistance to weather conditions and salt.
