Sports accommodation Dillenburcht in Drunen is a completely new accommodation to replace the outdated sports hall Onder de Boogen. This new sports accommodation offers a sports facility for primary and secondary school students during the day. In the evenings, training and competitions of various local and regional sports associations take place. The building is designed to meet the housing needs of these users and the hall is certified and approved by NOC*NSF, the Dutch Olympic Committee.
The hall can be divided into three solitary parts in which sports activities can take place visually and in terms of sound and high-quality acoustics, whether or not partially or completely separately. In addition, a large transparent grandstand area has been incorporated, which offers a free and good view of the large sports field. A separate meeting room has been fitted for the associations.
An association room with bar offers space for meetings with the supporters, or for relaxation after the sports performance. The property also offers accommodation for events. The building has been built sustainably with an Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage combined with a low-temperature heating system realized via the ball-proof radiation ceilings and 539 PV panels with 330 watt peak power have been realized on the roof.
