Sense Villa

Scale Architectural Group as Architects

is an attempt to create coexistence with nature, where it creates a close relationship between man and nature by focusing on attracting human senses and weakening the border between him and nature. This villa is located in a mountainous area with a stunning view. One of the key points in the design is to pay attention to the daylight, especially the direct sunlight in the space, which affects the human perception and feeling of the space. Further, by using the maximum levels in the walls while protecting the building from weather conditions, the boundary between the house and the environment has been made lighter.

The materials have been chosen in such a way that, while coordinating with the function of different spaces of the house, they also attract human senses, so that concrete, as a hard element, conveys a sense of security, and wood, with its warm and pleasant nature, conveys a sense of comfort and warmth. Also, wide glass surfaces intensify the feeling of closeness and presence in nature.

According to the topography of the land, various open, semi-open and closed spaces have been intelligently designed. This design makes it possible to experience a different feeling in different seasons and changing temperature conditions and establishes a deeper connection with the surrounding nature.
