Sehnaoui Residence

The house functions like an Archimedes communicating vase, with a continuum of linked spaces making it possible for the landscape to communicate through the house. Although the whole house fits in a rectangle, the curves within create a diversity and malleability of spaces. The quality of light is used as a differentiating factor between public, semi‐private and private spaces. The main entrance is defined by a sculptural installation that becomes the canopy of the house. A hunting museum is located on the other side of the pine forest adjoining the house.
