The SD apartment, the subject of a major restructuring, which has profoundly renewed both internal distribution and appearance, is located in the historic center of upper Ragusa; it occupies the entire second floor of a residential building built in the first half of the 50s, which has a total of 4 floors above ground.
The apartment presents an almost rectangular planimetric development, with the various rooms arranged along the perimeter of a small courtyard located in the back side from which air and light are obtained.
The building has only two free elevations:
- In the main one, to the east, on the main street, the large living and kitchen area is developed;
- in the back elevation, to the west, overlooking a private courtyard, the bedrooms and the study are created; on the other two sides (to the south and north) the property is built in adherence to the adjacent buildings.
