Burj Khalifa is currently the tallest building in the world, and we had the opportunity to design the interior on the 103rd floor, project Bulgaro Rosso. This design is a complete renovation of the 4494 Sqft penthouse.
· The Bulgaro Rosso project consists of rich materials and great attention to details.
· Welcoming the entrance of the space is an artwork displayed on the wall that is encompassed with Tapetex wallpaper.
· The flooring and the surrounding walls are cladded with a breath-taking full height camouflage marble.
· Both sides of the entrance have corridors that lead to different spaces, which can be disconnected by the enormous hidden marble cladded pivot doors on either side.
· Entering the first corridor brings you to the stunningly spacious living area that have two large structural columns that have been concealed rather organically with striking reddish orange leather from Pavoni.
· Between the two massive columns is the circular living space which sits elegantly on the dark Cadorin parquet flooring that spreads across the entire space.
· Left of the column, is a circular dining space with a marble top which has a set of ovular eye-catching glass chandeliers above it that lights up the space.
· To the right is a relaxing area with Giorgetti’s Flamingo table with armchairs and a stunning White Grand Piano.
· Behind the living area is custom free-standing bar counter cladded with bronze metal and Calacatta violet marble top.
· The back of the bar counter also features a fully cladded marble of the same finish to show continuity into the wine cellar which is housed inside a temperature-controlled storage behind glass doors.
· Following the curvature of the walls are storage spaces hidden behind a large curved sliding door cladded with Tapetex wallpaper.
· All these spaces face the windows showing the panoramic view of the beautiful Dubai skyline.
· The motorised curtains cover the entire expanse of these windows with a touch of a wall mounted button.
· The TV which is mounted onto a stitched leather wall in the TV room is situated in the left corner of the Penthouse with the couch sitting almost moulded to the shape of the buildings curve, the back of which overlooks the city below through its large windows.
· The kitchen’s counter space, backlash and even the cabinets below are all cladded with the gorgeous Black marble.
· Behind it are the storage spaces which are hidden behind De Castelli’s stunning shade of blue-green and bronze metal cladded pocket doors that reveal the amenities behind it.
· The master bedroom has a curved dressing table made of grey oak wood that houses a mirror following the shape.
· The walls and floor of the master bathroom is covered with Travertine greige marble.
· The wash basin, counter and bath-tub are made from forest brown marble and the walk-in-closet has dark Cadorin parquet flooring and Tapetex wallpaper, housing custom made wooden closet space and shelves with pull-out drawers.
· All the bedrooms in the penthouse have leather backed walls of different themes per room which makes them unique.
