Roman Park House

A Luxury New Build Home in Little Aston

IQ Glass UK as Manufacturers

A detached bungalow is demolished to give way to a two storey luxury new build home with a contemporary bespoke glazing package comprising of structural glass atrium, pitched rooflights and slim sliding glass doors.

A dated detached bungalow was demolished to make way for a contemporary two storey luxury new build home designed by MADE Architecture with oversized structural glass in a prestigious private estate in Little Aston.

A bespoke contemporary glazing package with double height structural glass, pitched rooflights slim sliding glass doors and casement windows formed an essential part of this modern design to the luxury new build, Roman Park House.

A towering vertical structural glass wall to the front elevation with a stone feature wall, and veranda-inspired timber cladding delivers an instant ‘wow’ as a visually impressive contemporary and elegant architectural creation oozing curb appeal to this luxury newbuild home in Little Aston.

The contemporary glazing package consists of dynamic elevations of structural glass forming part of a striking, yet sympathetic design that varies in height and absorbs itself into its stunning landscape.

The sunken lounge with a double height features structural glass faced the front of the luxury newbuild house to enhance the elevation but also to maximise on natural daylight. This was further elevated by an up and over structural glazed roof creating an atrium in the main reception and sunken lounge allowing natural light to fill the space throughout the day giving an instant wow-factor.

Floor to ceiling Invisio structural glass to both front and rear elevations provide abundant light and views outside.

The architectural detail was finished to the highest spec. Slim sliding glass doors are positioned throughout the exemplary 5 bedroom property. On the ground floor rear elevation a three leaf configuration of slim framed sliding glass doors provide an opening of more than 7m wide with seamless transitions to the mature garden that offers privacy with its surrounding tall trees.

Slim sliding glass doors are installed to the master bedroom of this luxury new build home on the first floor opening out to the rear garden views, and installed to the open study continuing the connection to the outdoors. Pitched rooflights were also installed in the study to the rear elevation above the structural glass in the creating an ‘up and over’ bright lightwell offering ventilation, natural light and views, all of which are proven to enhance productivity and concentration.

Top hung casement windows are installed throughout with all framing finished to RAL 7016 matt Anthracite Grey.

The contemporary glazing package in this modern piece of architecture lends itself with indoor, outdoor living thanks to the oversized structural glass, pitched rooflights, slim framed casement windows and sliding glass doors.

The orientation of the property made use of Northern light to prevent direct sunlight and solar gain, creating a cool, bright and cosy environment.

The resulting design took full advantage of this fantastic corner plot with a combination of striking full-height glazing, a stone feature wall, and veranda-inspired timber cladding making this a truly impressive luxury new house in Little Aston.
