NIB Commercial Project

Estudio Felipe de Almeida as Architects

Estudio Felipe de Almeida was hired to create, design and remodel our first office job in addition, the results were nothing short of brilliance, talent and skills in full display. Then and there we went from a 75m2 room to a 274m2 floor. Indeed, my inspiration for this project came from thorough research, curiosity, ideas borne out of desire. To illustrate, my material of choice is wood and I love wood plus more often than not seek inspiration from nature.

In the beginning of the project elegance and sophistication were not only what we set out to achieve when we remodelled the entire office in wood, but also a goal to blend the most advantageous, the most glamorous and the most attractive the wood can offer, in terms of color, smell and natural feel Since it was a commercial building, structural intervention was inexistence, however in its place were change of walls and an enormous aesthetic intervention. At the same time, it is interesting to highlight in the layout solution that the central link between the two main aethers of the company - The associates' wing and The work teams´ wing was the elevator hall.

The whole floor was divided into 4 business rooms nonetheless we combined everything. I say everything, because the hall gave exactly the vital connection needed as a result that one environment was not isolated from the other. Allocating a flank for the partners was key to giving suitable privacy. Another key point of the project is the large hall with workstations for 18 people which has provided both modern and functional dynamics and at the same time integration between environments and greater interaction between employees. I would like echo on what I mentioned earlier, on the other hand that gave another dynamism to the project and its layout.

It is important to note that the function of the arches, remains separating the environment, then again that creates a relationship or integration with the other environment, making everything more modern, functional and exquisite. It was important that the environment projected the image of the company it seeks out in relationship with customers and that is the extending a warm welcome of a partners home or similar.

Without a doubt, the uniqueness of the project lies in the curatorship made by Estudio Felipe de Almeida in each piece, furniture and finishing. Oozing sophistication without being pretentious and at the same time radiating timeless glory, 5, 10 ,30 or 50 years from now.
