Situated in the incomparable setting of S’Argamassa beach in Ibiza, the new flagship hotel of Meliá ME IBIZA demanded a railing system that could live up to its guests high standards of luxury and design. At the same time it had to be able to create an avant-garde space deeply connected with its natural surroundings.Comenza GlassFit New Generation range offered the perfect solution.
ME IBIZA is an example of a new way of understanding hotels: establishments with a unique design meant to create a vibrant and relaxed atmosphere; where the spaces are an extension of the traveller’s lifestyle and the personality of the setting resonates in every detail.
The 1000 meters of railings from Comenza GlassFit New Generation make it possible. With their cutting-edge design of simple lines, that seek the maximum luminosity and transparence, the SV-1200-1 y SV-1200-2 railings provide uninterrupted views of the landscape in the ROOFTOP, landmark feature of the hotel with its 360º views. Our glass railing systems with an aluminum base profile allow for a panoramic view while guaranteeing the highest safety standards, meeting the CTE normative (C3 category C3, 1,6kN).
For the room balconies, the SV-1301 and SV-1302 where chosen, given that they brought the spectacular views into the room, while reducing installation efforts to their bare minimum and guaranteeing the guests safety (these profiles, manufactured in anodized aluminum with a silver grey finish, resist loads up to 1kN).
