In june 2007 BHSF, Felmede + Mandel Architekten and the construction company Goldbeck developed a highly efficient and outstanding design for the new multi-storey car park on the Essen fairground. One of the more challenging requirements of the client was the desire to make the building invisble. Due to the ambitious economical demands it was not possible to go completely underground which led to an inclined green roof. The pattern of this roof is generated for one part by the elements of the prefabricated system and for the other by the altering blossom of the planting.
