Kaleidoscope is a primary and social care centre that combines a variety of health, social and educational services for children and young people into a one-stop care provision. This pioneering holistic solution for Lewisham allows children and their carers to access a range of services under one roof, which were previously in various locations across the borough. The building is C-shaped in plan, with all internal circulation looking out over the central garden space. The practice won the commission in a high profile CABE competition in April 2003.
