What was the brief?
The house was design for a family that came to México to retire, the family in matter is an assiduous yoga practitioner and they love to be in outdoor spaces. Therefore, right away we knew the architectural parti and the strength of the project was in the terrace. A lineal scheme parallel to the patio, is how the whole project is integrated.
Large windows bring natural light and ventilation across the whole unit during the day, so in terms of sustainability we manage to save lots of energy to the clients.
What were the key challenges?
The most important challenge was to really understand what the clients needed, and to be able to materialize all these ideas and concepts into a house.
