garden house

The garden house was originally conceived as an open gazebo with barbecue, but gradually in the process of creative throwing evolved into a full-fledged warm pavilion, equipped not only with a brazier, but also a kitchen with an electric stove, sink, refrigerator, and a dining table for ten people at the request of the client. The area allocated for the "gazebo" (30 sq. M.) is located right in front of the windows of the living room of the customer's mansion and is an important strategic object, designed to solve several tasks at once:-the arrangement of the backyard territory, which previously was a uniform grass lawn of the garrison type, without any signs of designer care;-connection of the futuristic aesthetics of the interior of the mansion with the panorama outside the window and the integration of the landscape into the interior of the living room;-creation of the picturesque dominant of the "intimate" zone of the backyard territory - a romantic cozy space for family entertainment, or celebrating special dates with friends. That is, the main goal of the project is to combine the style of the existing cottage, which was not designed by me and set a certain stylistic tone, with the bionic design of its interior, which is the fruit of my long and painstaking efforts and deserves a separate essay. The facade of the gazebo facing the house is solved in the same facing materials as the house and is a transitional link between the existing architecture of this elite village and my "modern" opuses. The main philosophical concept of this structure is the interpenetration of architecture and nature. By the way, at this stage of my development, as an architect, the idea of architecture aspiring to nature, as the highest goal of its perfection, is fundamental for me and the leitmotif is always present in most of my aesthetic undertakings. The reinforced concrete membrane separates two environments: a waterfall and a green cascade, which, however, continue to one another. The ill-fated breech lawn as it gets closer to our composition gradually "runs wild" and crawls into the living space, which in turn penetrates the ground (half of the kitchen is under a green cascade). Such a peculiar multiplane yin-yang demanded a very sophisticated constructive solution, which was provided once again by the remarkable construct engeneer Turchin V.G.The artificial reservoir imposed by me initially horrified the customer with laboriousness in execution, but after viewing the visualization, the issue was decided in favor of my concept. The pump, which is located in the utility pantry under the central part of the waterfall, supplies water from the pool bowl to the top and distributes it to three nozzles located at each stage of the cascade. This is done to ensure that the water flow is relatively even. All elements of the interior and exterior, such as small architectural forms, furniture, brazier, all metal articles in this project are developed by me exclusively for this object. Unfortunately, we have to admit that in our territories (Lviv), among performers on the basis of the symbiosis of the post-Soviet and provincial mentality, a depressing stereotype of behavior has been formed: with so low village quality criteria, workers have no incentive to raise them, they don’t want to make a quality product that corresponds to the project and, most importantly, do not want to learn. Therefore, without undue modesty, I would like to note that many elements have to be completed by myself, the work done undoubtedly has the status of a labor feat, and the template and therefore unpleasant for me "stress resistance" during the implementation of this project played a significant role. However, the main part of this difficult path has already been passed, the house is at the final stage of execution, and I hope that soon I will be able to present photos of the realized object.
