Located in Toronto’s West Queen West Neighbourhood on a corner lot within a residential setting, the project unifies Coffee and Bicycle culture into a cohesive environment. The linear space is organized through a calibrated succession of program with design elements and materials that overlap and shift through these contiguous zones creating continuity and connection. Café seating, a gallery for rotating bicycle maker exhibits and bicycle related retail successively weave the through the space anchored by the coffee bar with sidewalk service access, and the bicycle repair shop with diagnostic intake respectively.
