New global headquarters for dunhill in London’s Mayfair

MoreySmith as Architects

dunhill’s new global headquarters at 20 North Audley Street has been designed as a collaborative and contemporary digital first space in the heart of Mayfair, by leading architectural practice MoreySmith. Renowned for creating transformational workspaces for major brands that include Moët Hennessy, Sony Music, ASOS, Coca-Cola and Primark, MoreySmith was appointed for its vision in bringing all areas of the business together.

Spanning 2,000 sqm, this immersive space was conceived to foster creativity, with an integrated dual-floor showroom, design studio and dynamic social spaces. Collections are showcased throughout both floors which offers an animated experience for clients and visitors. A contemporary staircase connects the space, including the open rooftop terrace which provides a tranquil space for creativity. Natural light is abundant, with a generous lightwell carved through the slab, adding volume and creating an impressive double-height space.

The new global headquarters is physical expression of the updated visual vocabulary and direction of the house. Signature black leather, brass, ironmongery, tailoring fabrics, glass and woods have been engineered to create a setting reflective of the brand’s strength in architectural details.

This progressive workplace has been created with plug and play technology allowing absolute flexibility across the space. Sustainability is at the forefront of the design, with locally sourced materials including chevron timber floors and leather from London, shuttered concrete from Dorset alongside woven recycled plastic floors.

Linda Morey-Burrows, Founder and Principal Director of MoreySmith, said: “We loved working with dunhill on this project, it was a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with the team to create this unique fusion of retail, workplace and creative studio.”
