The prime leitmotif of the museum is the square that orders the abstract geometry of the mass. A study of the cube and its physical deviation (displacement) at one point creates an ephemeral mass covered with a spatial stone structure. This formally minimised shape ensues from the accurate layout of the building’s internal functional space to suit the purposes of the permanent collection, temporary exhibitions, and enriching the museum’s collections
