The program calls for the conversion of an eclectic cottage on the hill of Parella into a directional and operational office capable of representing the values of the fresh reality working within it.
While the site immediately reveals its scenic potential in the unobstructed view of the valley and its relaxing natural hillside setting, the existing building, with its traditional conformation and "crushed" by the extra silhouette superfetations layered over the years, does not allow its full enjoyment.
The project proposes the definition of a fluid space that from the exterior volumes winds its way inside the "tower" with a new independent structure whose floors slide to different levels. Portions of stairs move between the double- and triple-height spaces in a continuous interplay of surprising glimpses should they be introspective, through the interior space, should they be extroverted, beyond the exterior envelope onto the garden and the striking valley views.
The movement culminates in the framing of the dormer window on the top floor, the only element that violates the outline to open onto the panorama, making one barely suspect from the outside what is happening inside.
