Den Bosch’s new city hall is located in two buildings. The monumental town hall is expressed by an austere limestone and glass facade, integrated in the urban block. The much larger city office is a multi-faceted structure covering 18,000sqm with a mere 25 metres of outline facade. The design, with a system of voids and transparant facades, refers to the historical structure of parcels and courts, and integrates the Dieze, a small inner city river. The interior design is a modern, flexible and comfortable office environment.
