This Project maintains a visual proximity to La Primavera Forest in Jalisco, Mexico and was designed during the Covid-19 pandemic, which lead us to make precise decisions when understanding the necessities that emerged during those years, and comprehend the impact that architecture has in its users’ lives.
Conceptually, this project seeks resilience through the relation between functions and activities, in order to erase the barriers that define inside and outside, so that it would be dynamic and able to integrate possible new needs that might present in the future. This is achieved through a solid volume that is visually suspended from the ground, and creating private spaces with discrete openings to the exterior, but expanding to the garden on the side and back of the house, allowing it to combine areas and activities.
