Quinzhee + Beiko is the transposition of Guillaume (quinzhee's founder)’s passion for donuts in the newly reinvented universe of Beiko by Metah Nomis. The Beiko shopping experience is immersive.
When the client enters, he finds himself in a parallel universe that he discovers and experiences from visit to visit, whether there is simply a take-out or to stay there for a few hours. The architectural treatment of the space aims to highlight selected elements in order to direct the visitor’s attention and thus, to make him travel through the different spaces.
Among these distinctive features is the counter-cashier, a 20' long counter presenting all the varieties of beigne available at the store, all displayed on a pedestal in the image of this round pastry: colorful, curved and giving water to the mouth. Indeed, this counter with rounded ends and quilted texture is decorated with two huge pieces of concrete terrazzo and recycled glass reminiscent of the confetti of some donuts just above.
At the top of this central piece is a custom-made luminaire with the same intentions. In alignment with the counter, an arch passage is drawn at the bottom of the room. On the other side of this passage is a more posed space, separated from the much more lively take-out counter: the dining room. This space invites guests to take a seat and stay there. Everyone can choose their seat between the more intimate seating area and the more collaborative dining tables.
