Hands diagnose, treat and care for people, and they also transform and manipulate the space of this clinic in Manises. A tactile design that brings order, spaciousness and warmth to this field, updated at 45 degrees.

This clinic in Manises is dedicated to comprehensive health and well-being care. It is located on the ground floor of a residential building in Calle Mayor, Manises.

The space had consolidated uses and dependencies, which were determined by the services offered and by a rigorous weekly planning: reception, examination rooms, an extraction room and two toilets.

The development of the business throughout years and the interventions carried out partially had left a clogged space, with a disordered and outdated language which did not reflect the quality and care of its services.

The refurbishment project maintains the compartmentalization deemed necessary in the clinic, but it brings improvements in usability and experience. It aims to provide the clinic with a new identity, both physical and graphic, that is aligned with its values of care, health and proximity.

The strategies to achieve this are the following:

To gain amplitude thanks to a continuous equipped piece of furniture along one of the dividing walls, which provides storage in each room according to its specific utility.  Thanks to the presence of mobile boards, it is possible to accommodate a desk and patient care areas therein.

To synthesize the material palette (wood, tiles and mirrors) to limit sensory noise, appealing to domestic materials, but treated in a contemporary way.

Regarding the layout, a semi-covered ramp access is generated, inverting the position of the reception and adapting the necessary passageway prior to the examination rooms.  The proportion and layout logic of the examination rooms is balanced ensuring their coordination. An adapted toilet is also incorporated, adjusting its dimensions in the circulation and ensuring its accessibility.

The figurative character of the square shape, turned 45 degrees as an identity element, pools the brand proposal with the architectural intervention. The incorporation of the corporate color in details of the furniture and cladding give closeness, tactility and coherence to the project.
