In Rothschild Boulevard stands a tall apartment building, and like many other skyscrapers, the view from the upper floors is quite breathtaking. The combination between the sea, the modern-developing city, the old city of Jaffa and most of all – when its sunset time, makes it one of the best landscapes we have witnessed.
Since given to us the opportunity of designing an apartment at the 18th floor, the view was without a doubt going to a main influence on the design. We wanted to inflect that feeling of seeing both the very modern south of Tel-Aviv and the very ancient Jaffa into the atmosphere of the apartment.
To do so, we combined vintage and modern-looking furniture. In addition, we used all sorts of modern architecture elements such as reveling the concrete and the pipe system on the ceiling. Using wood for the floor and some of the furniture gives the apartment that vintage contrast.
In this five rooms + two bedrooms apartment we made sure that the view could be seen from most parts of it.
