The subdivision of 7 Houses, in Vila do Conde, is located in a mainly residential area. The general objective of the proposal is based on the consolidation of the urban fabric foreseen in the urban development plan for the area.
The topography of the sloping land allowed the creation of a small access ramp outside each house, to overcome the difference in levels. The height at the most unfavorable point is 6.60 m. The design of the façade now features a rhythm of spans different from the one initially enshrined. The elevation is marked by openings measuring 0.90m and 1.80m respectively, extending over two floors above the threshold and one below.
The landscaped space on the main façade is slightly recessed to provide ventilation and natural lighting for each of the autonomous units. Access from the outside is directly from the sidewalk and direct to a distribution hall from which you can also arrive if you use the common car access to the building.
On the entrance floor there is a living/dining room, a kitchen, a service toilet, and stairs, as well as the distribution hall. On the 2nd floor it is private and has 3 bedrooms with two toilets, one dedicated and the other shared. The master bedroom has a small balcony 80 cm deep.
The patios are private, lawned and it is planned to plant two native deciduous trees in each fraction.
