Nationwide Interdisciplinary Conference Miasto-Sztuka

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the Nationwide Interdisciplinary Conference „Miasto-Sztuka”(„City-Art”) to be held in Centrum Kultury Zamek in Poznań, Poland, on 13-15 March 2015. The event is organized by The UAM Art History Student Association in cooperation with Centrum Kultury Zamek. The conference aims to create a forum for relation between a municipality and art, considers aspects of their mutual interaction and cooexistance. An idea for that event was born of the belief that marginalising the role of art in urban space is a growing problem, therefore, conference organizers intend to encourage participants to treat art as a „city-forming" and „city-changing” factor.
