Our Bell suspensions, used in this 200 square-meters flat in Warsaw, are perfectly according to the light-coloured furniture. The whole furniture makes this space bright and sophisticated.
In this project the precious materials are together with the minimal furniture and the contemporary accessories. The shapes are simple and so timeless. The interior of the house in Lodz is a combination of minimalism and warmth of Scandinavia.
The design is dominated by natural materials - wood and stone, which form background for other elements of the interior. The only breaking colour is mustard, which appears in accents in the whole interior. An open-space living room, with dining area and a kitchen is the heart of the house. All zones are connected by large, open fireplace reminding of the natural fire. The dining room, with its central location is a typical meeting place - apart from variety of chairs there is a bench with soft pillows on which you can eat, relax or read a book. The dining room is lit by huge lamps, giving it its distinctive character. Family or social meetings are encouraged in the kitchen with an island facing the dining room, where you can also prepare meals and talk with the rest of the family at the same time. The sofa, situated near the fireplace, creates relaxation zone and allows to see the garden at the same time – this living room is perfect for the leisurely, family evenings. The first floor is primarily a spacious bedroom with integrated bathroom - divided only with glass sliding door. In consequence, the bathroom becomes a part of the bedroom giving it the character more of bath area not only a room. The staircase was finished with wooden mosaic with variable intensity - it has material transition function between stairs and white wall giving extra lightness to the setting.
