The bridge form derives from complex, asymmetrical geometry, its shape echoing marine flora and fauna themes. The bridge roadway bifurcates at the mast, with one of the branches becoming a "balcony" allowing pedestrians to stop and enjoy picturesque park views. The lower part of the twisted mast works as a crutch supporting the branching end of the bridge while the upper part secures the main span by seven steel cables.
