Váncza Művek is a Budapest-based (Hungary) architectural studio, founded in 1996 by László Váncza. We represent a rational, geometry-based architectural language deeply rooted in site and our built vernacular tradition. The projects vary from small scale (furniture design) to huge residential developments. Sometimes we co-operate with big architecture studios from Europe as partner of developments in Budapest (Zaha Hadid Architects, London and Filipe Oliveira Dias, Porto). We put great emphasis on architectural detailing, focusing on an aesthetic based building method and craftsmanship. Recently the studio has been working mostly on historical and religious projects located in Hungary.
