JCRARCHITECTS is an agency working from the power that every assignment needs its own specific solution. The answer to the design question arises from both an investigative and a designing attitude in which the dialogue between the desired program, the concept and the context are leading for a contemporary and specific answer. Here it is a given for us that materialisation and detailing are the key to a successful, usable and sustainable design. The office works dynamically; with a permanent core of staff, various freelancers, interns, but also with various partnerships to offer the client the necessary security and quality. The projects are developed in a 3D Building Information Model (BIM) and we work integrally with various disciplines in the construction sector.
Founder of JCRARCHITECTS is Jeroen Helder (1977), a passionate space maker and architect. After his studies at the HTS in Arnhem and the TUe in Eindhoven, Helder gained work experience at Frans Sturkenboom Architect and architects Koen van Velsen. Afterwards he developed and realized various projects in theory and practice in a partnership with Serbia Boetzkes. In 2014, Helder started the current architectural firm under the name JCRARCHITECTS. In addition to the construction work, Helder is also involved with HAN Institute Built Environment and the HKU Utrecht School of the Arts as a lecturer and project supervisor.
