Born of a shared passion for design and photography, Frederick and Frederick REMAUD GERVAIS founded FRED & FRED ® . Company that is reflecting on how to illuminate our living and working spaces. Based on years of research and design applied, the FRED & FRED ® created an innovative optical slab and declined a line of luxury lighting products that can be customized especially with colors, images and video - amounting light Art. Frédéric GERVAIS studied both Estienne and the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris. An expert in the field of photography, Frédéric GERVAIS served as artistic director at Publicis Groupe. His extensive research in the world of imaging, specifically with multiple cameras and lenses, the study of transient and changing images, led to reflect on the image, foundation products FRED & FRED ® . Frédéric REMAUD studied at the Olivier de Serres school in Paris, then at the School of Architecture Paris Val de Marne and finally graduated with a master 2 in industrial design at La Cambre in Brussels. Frédéric REMAUD is a French designer and worked as a designer manager for Doublet company. Doublet in itself proved to be an avant-garde designer, including creating furniture for the Army Museum Les Invalides in Paris. He is the creator of the original form of concrete innovative optical module. Based on Freds' collaboration in the design, they got a grant and two Anvar OSEO Innovation Award to finance, research and develop optical product collections. They also received the prestigious Red Dot Design Award in 2011 for their work.
