Estudio Piloti Arquitetura

The Estudio Piloti Arquitetura is composed of partners Luis Claudio Marques Dias and Vivian Hori Hawthorne since 2016, and is established in São Paulo, Brazil. It counts on the collaboration of Luiza Amato Iazzetti since 2019. The studio operates on different scales, from public and institutional buildings to private urban or rural settings. Notable projects include the showroom for the Portinari Cecrisa brand, the Galpão Lapenna Community Center for the Tide Setubal Foundation, the Municipal School of Carandaí-MG, and the community center of the Fishermen's Island in Ubatuba. In the residential sphere, they have completed numerous projects for rural houses, aiming to integrate the constructions into the landscape. Architecture is a built work; the design process is completed on the construction site and allows for new reflections and the contribution of new layers of practical knowledge that enrich the initially conceived design. Design solutions should enable architecture without excess, aiming to be economically viable while also being generous in terms of comfort and functionality.
