In 2002, brühl was awarded the Bavarian Environmental Medal for its special contribution to environmental protection and the furtherance of the State of Bavaria. In October 2009 brühl became the first seating furniture manufacturer entitled to display the “Blue Angel” environmental emblem for using materials low in pollutants and for resource-saving manufacturing methods.
