Alan Morris Architect

Studied Architecture at Kingston University and at the Architectural Association (A.A. Diploma 1981). Professional registration from 1983. Since qualifying worked with several practices including Gregotti Associati (Milan), Terry Farrell Partnership, Eva Jiricna Architects and Casson Mann.

Taught architectural design at various universities including, UBA (Buenos Aires), A.A. Diploma School, Bartlett School at UCL, University of Bologna (Italy) and at the Mackintosh School in Glasgow.

Awards in international architecture competitions, include commendations in the design competition for the New Museum of the Acropolis (Athens 1991), the Gallipoli Peninsula Competition (Turkey 1998) and the Borgetto Flaminio urban plan (Rome 1996).

Opened an office in London in 1987 and later in Bologna (Italy 1992-2004), in order to work on design projects with Italian manufacturers. Worked in London for the US/UK practice SHCA Architects (2004-2009), and now working in private practice (2010 onwards) based in Kentish Town, London.
